EVH Working Group 2 on Pandemic Influenza

As part of its cross cutting scientific activities, the European Vaccines Hub (EVH) is carrying forward the work of its Working Group 2 on Pandemic Influenza (WG2). This initiative complements the efforts of the EVH four Pillars (Discovery, Preclinical Studies, Clinical Studies, Regulatory & Manufacturing) by providing a dedicated forum for expertise in virology, immunology, public health, and vaccine development within the consortium.

WG2 plays a key role in supporting the EVH Steering Committee through scientific input that helps advise EVH’s strategic approach to research activities on Pandemic Influenza. Its insights and recommendations contribute directly to the European Pandemic Vaccine Readiness Plan under EVH Work Package 17, reinforcing EVH’s objective of establishing a coordinated and forward looking preparedness framework.

Through the ongoing work of WG2, EVH strengthens its commitment to advancing collaboration and innovation in pandemic related vaccine research across Europe.
